This would be in line with 1Malaysia concept towards developing our nation's human capital to be a global player.
It is now timely to call on Malaysian Government to recognise the UEC as entrance requirement for Malaysian public universities and civil service. It is in our interest to develop this group of students to retain them in the country so that they can contribute towards nation building. With their trilingual background of Chinese, Bahasa Malaysia and English, they can only be our country's asset as we look towards being a fully industrialised nation in 2020.
I feel that SUPP can be the initiator of such a campaign throughout the state and nation so that we can all come together to make a positive contribution in developing the future generation of Malaysians.
I appeal to all organisations to join us in this pursuit beyond any political divides.
