Family Time

The SUPP TGM came and went. Perhaps people were disappointed with the status quo of the leadership - I am an optimist - I am hopeful that the Delegates' suggestions will be taken up and something positive will develop. I have received many encouraging calls of comfort - I tell them not to worry, I have not lost heart, Women Section is only part of my involvement in the Party. It didn't go so bad - I had 48% of the votes.
My heart is still very much in the Party as I said SUPP must have a new culture.

Now it's back to clear my backlog of work at the office and chores at home. Dinner is a big thing for the family - cooking is a teamwork from all the family and we all enjoy the fruits of our labour together. With my son, Eman, back from Melbourne - we are a complete family. Nice...

Today, Eman just got his results of the VCE (Victorian High School) exams - not bad. He had to struggle when he was at Chung Hua Middle School No. 1 and always complained that they had to memorise everything! So the last 2 years of very expensive (for us)  boarding school at Melbourne, had been worth it. Had we left him to finish High School in Kuching, he wouldn't have made it. So he's now waiting for offers from Universities.

We are all so happy for Eman and we celebrated by having an 'out of the ordinary' Monday family breakfast together.

My family have been waiting for me to get ready for our family vacation. Tony (my husband) and I are taking our 4 kids to Beijing and Bangkok. Beijing will be freezing but it'll be educational for the kids to see all the landmarks of Beijing. Bangkok will be food...

We had to time our holiday after Party TGM and for my youngest sister, Li, to come home from Melbourne, so there'll be family with my Mum when we are away.
Merry X'mas to all and happy vacation with your loved ones.
